A new way to sell your home in Canada
After building marketplaces for parking, rentals, local services, and private car sales, the Dhandaz Tech team is taking on the biggest transaction of most people's lives: selling a home. Homezo.ca is a for-sale-by-owner platform where homeowners list their property, talk directly with buyers, and close on their own terms — with no agents and no percentage-based commission.
The math is hard to ignore. A typical Ontario home sale carries around 5% in total agent commission, plus 13% HST charged on that commission. On a $1,000,000 home — a common price point across Brampton and the GTA — that works out to roughly $56,500 leaving the seller's pocket before lawyers, moving trucks, or anything else.
What Homezo will offer at launch
- Full property listings — photos, pricing, features, and your home's story, live in minutes.
- Direct buyer messaging — answer questions and book showings yourself, with no middleman filtering conversations.
- One flat listing fee — a single upfront price instead of a percentage of your sale.
- A built-in savings calculator — see exactly what you keep at your price point before you list.
- Close with your own lawyer — the same way every Ontario sale closes anyway.
Brampton first, then the rest of Canada
Like every Dhandaz Tech platform, Homezo is starting close to home. The platform launches first in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area, where homeowners pay some of the highest dollar commissions in the country, before rolling out across Ontario and the rest of Canada.
Homezo joins Parkify.ca, Rentol.ca, Taskal.ca, and CarLinx.ca as the fifth platform in the Dhandaz Tech family — and follows the same philosophy that has carried those platforms past 40,000 combined users: connect people directly, keep fees flat and transparent, and let Canadians keep more of their own money.
Launching soon — the first 10 customers list for just $99.
